Buy a slipped coupler, cut the pip put the slipped coupler one end of the pipe, push all the way up so its away from the cut. put pipe in place and the slide coupler down over the cut.

Cut the pipe and get a slip coupling from Wickes or your plumbers merchant, they will explain how to use it if they are a decent salesperson

Should’ve put it into the ground first. Anytime I do waste pipe whether it’s soil pipe inch and a half or inch and a quarter you should always work from the fixed point. Ah well it happens it’s a learning curve

It’s not that it’s too tight, it’s just got got any play on the pipe above. Cut the pipe, get a 4” slip coupler, then fit the pipe and slide the coupler over both pipes. (I’m a plumber)

Bucca :
Get a 4inch slip coupling, the pipes perfect length you just haven’t got that 40-50mil to lift and pop in. Slip coupling you can put your branch in first, slip the coupling up the stack, pipe back in between then the coupling will slide back down. They are like normal couplings but they have no nodules inside so it’ll slide the full length up the pipe 👍🏻

Either get a slip coupler, or pack pipe out at ceiling height with timber and bend it in if correct length 😉

You need to remove the stops on the inside of the joint. Then slide it up.
