I hate to sound old but in her 20’s??? We are not doing these kids any favors by doing stuff like this! I was married, kids & home by then. Under 18- absolutely help & teach them. STOP coddling. What happens when you’re gone??

please do not refer them to a tax professional to ask why there are no federal taxes being withheld. that is a payroll question, obviously for the employee though not the parent.

The anxiety cause is calling from within the room………as someone with anxiety I would find this mothers behavior to be very stressful and anxiety inducing, not comforting or helpful

My daughter just turned 16 and has anxiety. Her tasks now are calling minimum of 3 companies a day part of her home school assignments. Ask basic questions to advance to more in-depth info. In person, she is to order her food, to ask an employee for assistance, chat up randomness at the check out lane. Lowe’s employee (since didn’t have a customer) the process of cabinet and counter purchase. He stated grown adults can’t even do this without impatience. He was excited seeing a teen taught process of life and to combate anxiety. Can’t hide behind anxiety nor will I enable.
