when they started the remake for FF7 and then announced 8 was to be held for 9 to be done 1st I was crushed 8 is so much better

these compaines have a reputation of taking these classic systems and throwing them away and giving us a system we never asked for but atleast i can play as the main character

One of my all time favourite games, I wouldn’t get excited though, they’d release it on 3 discs over 20+ years. We’re still waiting for final fantasy VII last disc!

I think ff8 is in the number 1 spot for me now. I love ff7 but I feel like it’s getting the kingdom hearts treatment with too many spin offs and installments. They are both great but I’ve really come to appreciate the story and style of 8. Only thing I didn’t like was the goofy defeat of Ultimecia by Laguna. I think 8 deserve a remaster into a single game. I need this aesthetic injected into my veins.
