if tithing was not recorded in the Nt, it doesn't mean it was not done. it's not everything done by the early churches that was recorded, so let's not conclude that tithes is obsolete

Lots of confusion in Christianity. If tithe is to make food available in the house of God then it can't be obliterated but those who embezzle what's given will be judged by God.
