@theskydigest: Same flight. Same time. One’s a British Airways jet. The other? A Chinese aircraft reverse-engineered from stolen Boeing and Airbus designs. £600 cheaper. But would you board it? 👇 Vote below and tell us why in the comments. #TheSkyDigest #AviationNews #COMAC #Boeing #BritishAirways #Airbus #FlightSafety #StolenTech #PlaneTruth #AviationShorts #ChinaEastern #FlySmart #AviationGeopolitics #TikTokPoll #WouldYouFlyIt

Most of the Comac C919 is made from western parts though? Engines, Hydraulics, Avionics and more are all sourced from places like Germany, USA, UK etc the only fully Chinese component is the airframe which accounts for roughly 30% of the plane, it has a good track record and always good to see more competition in the Aviation industry

Most planes that have crashed have been boeing, the Malaysian flight. Recently the Air India flight was a Boeing 747, there were passengers in first class, and economy all died except one. It doesn't matter about the price or aircraft.

The thing is that China is probably technologically and industrially 50 years ahead of the rest of the world. Remember most iPhones are made in China and they are the best phones in the world solid hardware last forever.

How many Comacs crashed vs how many Boeings over the past three years?
Considering that 3 major crashes for Boeing over the past 3 years with fatalities of over 500 souls, and Comac had no crashes since certified in 2022, it's Boeing that we need to avoid.

Mate BA is shambolic. Aircrafts super old, cabins very aged, tight legroom, outdated seats, very questionable service, let’s not even talk about food. Chinese airlines excel in all the above mentioned categories, only thing I could point out is for crew to be able to speak English properly.

How about Air China (in an airbus A350) business class vs BA. Less than half the price and literally the same seat.
