So true! I had a pulmonary embolism from birth control and I still agree! There’s many kinds of birth control and I’m way safer on a progesterone birth control than pregnant

I love my IUD purely bc I am not ready to have children and that is totally cool :) insertion was painful but manageable and I am very happy with it now :)

My mom died from ovarian cancer and I have a history of ovarian cysts, one popping was the worst pain I’ve ever experienced. So yeah, I’ll take my birth control to help that never happen again. Thank you for using your platform for speaking up!

I know some people get side effects from birth control but I have zero side effects and haven’t had my period since I was 16! I’m 27! The birth control pill is the one of best things that happened to me honestly
