@myfitkitchn: This is my go-to breakfast lately, this Morning Kefir Drink made with chia and flax seeds along with cocoa powder as well! I’d call this is a superfood breakfast since it’s rich in probiotics with a good amount of protein and things like omega 3s too! The full recipe ~about 1 cup (250mls) of kefir drink ~2 tablespoons of flax seeds ~1 tablespoon of chia seeds ~1 tablespoon of cocoa powder Note - the chia seeds will thicken and this will become quite thick, what I do is add some water to thin in out as I mix it so I can drink it like a smoothie, or I have it as is and eat with a spoon. BE SURE to let this soak because of the chia seeds for a couple hours at least, I always make this the night before otherwise I just drink plain kefir in the AM ☀️ You can also add some cold brew to this for a coffee flavour/mocha flavour… just don’t add hot coffee as probiotics are heat sensitive. I usually have this first thing in the morning, and then an hour later I’ll have my first coffee of the day ☕️ #k#kefirh#healthybreakfasttiktokrecipe #GlowUp
you can also blend this mix before letting it set in the fridge and you'll have a pudding! used to make it for my kiddos with a little maple syrup to sweeten💗
