Try to avoid the personification of evolution. It doesn't "want" anything, it isn't an intentional process with some guy going around convincing the people he doesn't like not to have kids, it just happens.

That paper isn't a study and it doesn't "prove" anything as such. It's a theoretical review - a type of paper that looks at existing research and rearranges the information in a way that creates a new framework or theory. He's presenting a (theoretically well-grounded) new idea.

So you're saying animals reproduce coz they believe in God. Quantum physics is proving that our idea of reality wasn't true. everything is connected with quantum entanglement, states can exist in the same time at two separate points. both of which are qualities of God. Seeking knowledge is getting closer to God, but we can never know the full picture coz knowledge is infinite which again is another quality of God. All life forms & inanimate objects are fractions of God trying to observe & reconcile reality but we ourselves are not God coz we are not the full picture
