I don’t think it’s hard to talk about money & Christ, money is a great resource & only an issue if it leads to idolatry, greed & wickedness just like anything else. I feel like there’s Christians that think that if they don’t have a lot of money then are humbler than those who do & are closer to Jesus… I also feel that some Christian’s aren’t used to seeing the duality of being a believer & also having a whole & fulfilling life outside of the church because it’s not very common especially without being lukewarm!!!

Christianity doesn’t equal poverty. If I’m not mistaken, we loosely get that posture from the vow of poverty taken by Catholics. It’s a vow taken to renounce personal ownership of material possessions.
