This is actually a veeeeery good point. A lot of the women I know with autoimmune diseases are the oldest. That’s crazy. Or if they aren’t, they are the most responsible of the children.

I have fibro, PCOS, fertility issues...first born, oldest girl on both sides of my family. survivor of childhood sequel abuse and then later sexual assault. I'm holding it together with glue and tape with a child of my own now. It's suffocating because everytime I get above the stress, a big life event happens. Currently dealing with my Aunt's (mom's sister) death. my mom is now the matriarch...but funny how everything has landed on me. I'm tired.

I have an older brother I think this might apply to the first born girl even if they have older brother(s) men refuse to meet us here where the hurts are most the time. A good one can sort of show up sometimes. And that’s a good one lol

What if the “symptom” that plays out in the eldest millennial daughter is body focused repetitive behavior disorders? Why would it possibly turn her mind and her body into a torture chamber? While still being high functioning. The family sees it but ignores it and continues to siphon from her.

I’m the eldest daughter of an eldest daughter mother diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis at 40yrs old but was dealing with symptoms since I was 26 years old. No matter what I do, my inflammation makers are high 🤷🏽♀️
