I was working out of town and we got a pretty sweet per diem. At the hotel breakfast I would take bread, small things of pb and jelly, and some fruit. Packed lunch from it. They made fun of me but I saved $$$. I get it.

Not weird at all! At my job, everyone has desk snacks. Oatmeal, ramen etc. we even have a “snack shack” and the managers regularly do a run to Sam’s club and we all pitch in and pay for what we use

At my last company my colleagues and I all had our cubicles stocked with snacks, condiments, utensils, silverware… could’ve bunkered there for at least a week with all the desk food we all kept.
