i used SK car rental in jeju and this was fine for me (i booked, bf was the only driver)! we did not have to put a credit card down as well so could be worth exploring next time round :)

Isn’t that how every location is. It could have been cheaper to have you as primary driver and your bf as secondary driver.

I booked the reservation but my friend was the sole driver. I explained that I forgot to pack my IDP and they said it’s okay. I’m sorry you experienced that, not sure why.

for those going jeju, it’s possible to opt in to add a 2nd driver for free, i did that but mine was booked through trip.com. it was way cheaper than lotte even when I topped up for 0 excess :)
