@5wcvb: Today marks 10 years since the Supreme Court ruling that legalized same-sex marriage in the U.S. But gay couples in Massachusetts were able to say "I do" more than a decade earlier, following a 2003 ruling from the state's Supreme Judicial Court. Among the first couples to legally marry in the state were Julie and Hillary Goodridge, who were at the center of the SJC's historic ruling. WCVB was there as they acquired their marriage license at Boston's City Hall in 2004. Several years later, the couple divorced, but they raised a daughter and remained prideful about their role in history.
