@stephinguyen: On 6/18/25, I was diagnosed with breast cancer — a shocking and unexpected diagnosis for me because I am healthy 30 year old woman with no family history. The past week and a half has been a whirlwind of doctor appointments and overwhelming support from loved ones. Unfortunately, I’ll undergo 6 rounds of chemo over the next 4.5 months, followed by surgery, a year of maintenance therapy to target HER2 receptors, and 5–10 years of hormonal treatment. The first few days were incredibly tough, but with a solid treatment plan in place, I’m feeling more grounded. I’m doing my best to find moments of joy and normalcy.
