Some of the most profitable companies in the world laying off tens of thousands of people and flooding the job market making it impossible for new grads to even get an interview. Now the federal government is getting rid thousands of jobs that could’ve been available. It’s so sad. I have a 16 year old and I’m so worried for our kids.

They want the new ‘highly educated’ generation to work up the ladder at a low income for years to get “experience”. Then, still having thousands in debt, MAYBE get a job that pays decently…. But still ringing the bell and never having any real built up savings…. Because they want to extend the retirement age, and inevitably not pay out any social security. Which is more money that gets siphoned out each biweekly paycheck. It’s modern slavery.

I graduated high school in 2019. I was very motivated and hopeful, then it was Covid, and then it’s this. I’m over drafted in my account, literally and emotionally, and can’t land a job for the life of me. Every morning I wake up panicking about my place on this planet!
