You explained how I’ve felt my whole life in such a short time. Thank you 💗 It can be very hard to explain

its so true it works with this same same cycle if you truly look at it no matter the theme , it always starts with trying to “fix” the issue its telling you

This makes so much sense why I’m having horrible ocd patterns since being diagnosed with a chronic illness

Thank you for your video. This has helped me understand how best to feel my emotions, to tune into my feelings. To be messy and not figure it out in my mind all the time, suppressing what I need to feel. You explained is so well. This means so much to me.

100% my partner passed away I was grieving hard and then I had a mental breakdown and then the ocd in stronger than before. I knew it was protecting me from emotional pain. But still so painful!

I have a question about this! For a long time I didn’t engage in my compulsions, and my OCD blossomed into full-day panic attacks. My attempts to “sit with the fear” led me to sitting on my bed for hours, unable to move or eat. It seems like maybe the most helpful thing for me is to instantly distract myself when the thoughts pop up, but that runs counter to everything I’ve heard about OCD treatment. I’d love to hear your thoughts on this!

What do you call when for example I was busy looking at something and then suddenly I get this fear that what if I think about this then end up thinking about it even if I don't want to. How can I handle this?
