Makes sense.. I really like to be social and want to be included, but I am masking and have had to learn how to interact with people.. so now I can fit in almost anywhere because I just mirror people, yet I am so lonely I don’t because I don’t TRUELY fit in anywhere..

I was actually extremely extroverted kid until i went to school and my teachers made sure to punish me in specific for being confident and social while rewarding neurotypical kids for same behaviour. Years of therapy to unmask and yet i still feel some kind of mental block preventing me from socialising.
