ok but firefighters really see uneducated kids die in fires and want to emphasize this is a serious thing that can happen, sugarcoating it may make kids hesitate in a really dangerous situation later.

Bus evacuation. The driver told my FIRST GRADERS about a bus driver who died at the wheel, and the bus almost crashed. My kids were traumatized. For weeks afterwards, they kept asking me about it 😭

I’m a firefighter and we actually make fun of the ones that talk like this with the kids. 😂 They talk so over their heads too. We’re like can you stop talking they just want to see the engine 😆

We had a firefighter dad for career day and he made it so fun! He brought a smoke machine and “saved” his kid and even brought books and candy. The poor nurse that followed was not keeping their attention lol I felt bad
