Work in grocery. Woman returned 25 lbs of dry dog food because it "has bugs in it." Gave her the refund. Her next question? What do you do with the dog food now? Told her it was claimsed out then quickly added and safely DISPOSED. She kind of huffed at me but left. 🤣

I had customer call 10 mins before close. Told them we close in 10 mins and will you be here on time they said yes. Now 20 mins past close we already closed register all that see knocking on door and asked to come in. Said closed and can’t do payment but yelled at door asking for the food as we already made it.

I lived 2 blocks from the grocery store. Went & shooed, stood in check out, they got it all bagged & I reached for my checkbook…not in my purse. I looked around then realized I left it on the table where I’d been writing out bill payments. I told the lady to just hold my sacks by the registered I’d be back in 5. I ran out, got home & back within the 5 minutes. Hubby watched me running in/out of the house & me yelling I’ll tell you later. The cashier was shocked I was back. She said usually people don’t come back. I needed my food & yep, it really embarrassed me.
