This isn’t entirely accurate. Yeah you can buy Aikiya, but that doesn’t mean you get permanent residency or any kind of visa so you can only stay for 90 days. You have to get a work visa if you plan to stay long term, and for that you need a college degree and a job offer from a Japanese Company. If Japan would make it easier to gain permanent residency plenty of people would move there.

Under what visas though. Most don’t allow dependents. This sounds like a visa specifically for sustaining inaka but would only be doable for business management or digital nomad.
