The European Inventor Award 2026 is open to all ages! The Young Inventors Prize will return again in 2027 (winners aged 30 and under). From creating smart food labels that change colour when the food is no longer safe to eat, to recycling rare earth materials from electronic waste, and even capturing and cleaning emissions from cargo ships on board! This year’s inventors have come up with solutions that are truly changing our planet and seeing young people being celebrated for their work was so special for us to see.
