Lenovo Legion Slim 5, Asus TUF A14 or Zephyrus G14/16, all other laptops have HUGE disadvantages... if you have money, buy the Zephyrus, nothing comes close to its sound+screen+performance+lightness+build quality combo, insane. If you want a small gaming beast with oled screen buy the legion, if you want the lightest possible all rounder laptop for cheap then buy the TUF A14

If you already have a PC, you shouldn’t buy any gaming PC. Instead, buy a workstation laptop. Something like a Dell Precision, Thinkpad PXX, or an HP ZBook. The Quadro/RTX Studio GPUs will be much more suited for engineering applications like Solidworks, and having an actually certified GPU will add more features and better optimization. Either this or buy an XPS, Spectre, or anything with a dGPU since gaming laptops look hella ugly.

Im studying computer engineering with a MacBook Air and having no issues whatsoever. My sister studied architecture and got a degree with the maximum score by using a Mac. Most of the programs run on any OS nowadays, and if they don’t you can simply use a virtual machine. You’re probably asking yourself why, for the same price, I didn’t buy a great windows laptop and save myself the trouble, and honestly I would say that nothing changes but you always gotta consider what you’re used to

no mater how those brands advertise their products being slim portable,... but remember that they are all scam =)) nothing include a gpu can weight less than 2kg because if your laptop has a gpu, you always have to bring a 200-220w charger
