Although Christianity has taken a lot of traditions from pagan cultures and beliefs. some of these are not factually correct. just because a holiday/festival is similar, doesn't mean it is stolen or borrowed. expecially when festivals are based around changing of the seasons. there are many beliefs with similar ideas from around the world with not much links to each other.

"Pagan" is a word equivalent to "Hillbilly" or "Hillfolk"... "Bumpkin". It's a general term used back then for uneducated country people. How about track the original regions identifying terms instead of continuing with the denigration.

Exactly.....there was a Neolithic pagan religion called Ka-ristia, which began in northern Spain and spread throughout Europe....when the Romans invaded the Iberian Peninsula....all the Kantabros prisoners spread that religion throughout the Empire.
