@itschompshop: Replying to @MomModeOnDaily (drum roll please)... our ChompSaw is officially safety certified for ages 3+! We've gone through all sorts of safety testing to guarantee our machine is 100% kid-friendly. If you've been following us since our Kickstarter days, you might remember how we wanted our tools to be for anyone "5-99" but our official age rating ended up being 8+ (bummer). At the time, we were trying so hard to avoid further delays getting ChompSaws to our backers, and there was a big risk that going after a younger age certification would delay us even further. So we announced an 8+ age range, while secretly in the background we worked on re-certifying it for ages 5+ (which we were able to announce at the end of 2024). Here’s the thing - you may have seen videos of my son Milo, AKA our Chief Testing Officer, using the ChompSaw independently since he was 3. He’s been testing and interacting with the ChompSaw in every form since its inception, from our earliest prototype to now, and in that time we have watched him move from just shredding cardboard without a plan to drawing patterns and cutting out shapes! We see a lot of value in starting kids with cardboard crafting at younger ages, so we decided to re-certify AGAIN for ages 3+, and I’m so excited to announce that we passed! Kausi and I have watched hundreds of kids use the ChompSaw and (no surprise) have found it works differently as an educational tool for different ages. Age 3, you're going to see a lot of demoing cardboard and cutting crazy lines, but that's a start to building the fine motor skills and spatial awareness needed to start creating shapes! Around age 5, you'll start to see things getting three-dimensional and more problem-solving, inventing, and bringing their sketches into the real world! Everyone's going to go at their own pace, but the moral of the story is all we wanted was for more kids to experience the ChompSaw like Milo did (and does), so here we are. This is a huge deal, and we couldn’t be more excited to share this news with you (and your 3-year-olds!) — Max 👋 #kidsoftiktok #steamtoys #stem #cardboard #DIY #crafting #fyp

Teach him to move his fingers. This habit will get him hurt when he gets to real tools.
