About your first point, Is there a mode of therapy where the therapist can be direct? I can take it I don't want to talk around it I want to work through it head on. Can look at the roots of the problem through that knowledge?

I don’t think to prescribe a drug is so easy; for example I suffer from severe OCD and severe anxiety and I’m on 150 mg Sertraline rn and it’s supposed to be good for me, but it’s giving me more anxiety and 0 help for my OCD since I started 3 years ago (and the psychiatrist knew about my anxiety) so…

silence is a gift because this world refuses to give us time to think or reflect. we are forced to get our thoughts out quickly in order to not take up time and space. therapy (and the best of friendships) counters this

Okay I mean this in a nice way, but it’s so good to see all this as I’ve noticed some of your content before this (while being mostly very very good) did feel like it lacked a bit of understanding of the experience of being a patient who doesn’t have a baseline knowledge where I feel these realisations will help, your already solid ability to help, reach out to more people.
