It’s so fascinating seeing the different ways trauma and neglect can affect dogs. Tiki was terrified to venture out of his cave under the bed, while Cheesecake is making up for the lost hugs and love he’s missed 🥹

I have a dog that I found while on a walk - I took him to the shelter in case the owner was looking for him - they called me two days later to tell me they found the owner. Then they called me back two days later to tell me that he was surrendered to them. I immediately went up and got him and fostered him and now I have adopted him and he is an absolute angel. I keep waiting for him to do something that would be “a dealbreaker“ if that even exists - people are horrible
