NTA, but instead of taking the jewels and selling it, negotiate they pay you out a portion of rhe value, basically buying it from you so they keep it, and you get money, idk that's what I would do.

Wills are filed with the court so that whole missing papers or hiding things is impossible. Her lawyer should be able to get a full copy of the will through the court or the lawyer that filed the will
