Such a tragic story… if you saw the movie you definitely need to read the book. It’s just a must, or at least the end of it. He was always so stuck to his professional career, and never realized how “the remains of the day” could be enjoyed in a personal manner. He gave everything to Lord Darlington because of what he regarded as dignity and greatness, but never realized the value his personal life could uphold. If only he would realize how important the remains of the day were..
