They probably have presold units that will be available to purchasers to them before the units that are sold to the general public. It’s a win-win. Seller gets $ and bragging rights on high selling animal. Pre sale purchased buyers get 1st offspring on the ground. In turn striking while the buzz is still high due to the sale.

It also makes me think of what people will do in the cattle and horse industry, there’s allot of behind the scenes agreements going on. They know who’s buying it for an agreed on amount just to get promoted by social media and clients, that way everyone thinks it’s a big going on when it’s really just allot of smoke.

Breeding stock in any species is a gamble greats ones to come to top but 1 style change todays $475k boar now last yr model can be a great investment but do it if your ok with setting $1000 on fire not caring livestock so much fun lol raising it not for weak

People will pay it!! But honestly it's gotten out of reach for alot of us. But keeping and raising pigs isn't just feeding them, alot to it investing in your stock and some of those prices are hard to pay..
