Good!!! Birthright citizenship was specifically intended for Freed Blacks and their descendants after the Civil War. It was not meant to be an immigration loophole so that people could come illegally and have their children gain US citizenship. The author of the citizenship clause of the amendment said so. Even Native American Indians were excluded from the 14th amendment, and had to gain citizenship through the Indian Citizenship Act.

Mexico abolished slavery twice: first in 1829 by President Vicente Guerrero, and then definitively in 1837. While the 1829 decree exempted Texas, it was later fully abolished in 1837. This occurred well before the United States abolished slavery with the 13th Amendment in 1865.

Thank you, President Trump. Yes indeed no matter how you feel about this man. He said it way before now he’s reiterating what the Supreme Court just handed down but he said this a couple of occasions. This is exactly who is for and we should be happy because these other groups have been piggybacking off of this amendment to stay in this country and it’s long overdue as far as I’m concerned🥰💯❤️

Damn my Dominican babymother in New York may get deported. Her parents came into the country in the 80’s she was born in 1986 I remember her telling me how her parents got here 💯. Her parents are deceased now and our child is 20 years old now and he’s not going anywhere I’m FBA so he’s a citizen. I hope his mama is a citizen 💯

They didn't end it. They just said judges can't put a national hold on an executive order. Judges in each state can put a hold on it in the state the order was sued. You need congress to amend the constitution before it can be ended.
