do I own one of these ACs? no. did I watch intensely? yes. if you can get your hands on a window unit, I'd love to know how to clean them! I have 3 and I an see the mildew spots inside, but can't get to them. 😑

I work with AC's and every manufacturer only recommends cleaning those with water. Don't use any chemicals

...question...would it be easier to build a chicken wire netting cage around/over the top to prevent the leaves getting in the system? I mean it would still need cleaning but...just wondering 🥰
