@evelyn.garces_: Momma came into the shelter as a stray. Her babies were adopted (SO GRATEFUL!). She is still waiting for someone to choose her next, but she’s cleared for euthanasia. She went to playgroup immediately after being in her kennel for weeks, so she was overwhelmed. That got her the rating “calm dogs required.” She was shy, hesitant, and frankly just scared at first. Volunteers worked with her to build her confidence and now she is the most loving affectionate baby ever! She even started to play with other dogs! There was an alleged incident where there was a bite, and even though no victim came forward/ no evidence was provided, she STILL comes with a bite disclosure. It’s unfair and messed up, but it’s just the way it is. All it takes is ONE person to step up for her in order to save her life.
