@sockydoo_novapoo: Mom does her best every day, and dad works his rear off to help however he can. Mom was finally getting to a good place with her loans, and then she had a medical emergency. She works with special needs preschoolers, and because of the injury she was out of work for a bit, then stuck at part time. The healing process for mom was long and painful, but the doctors worked wonders and she’s almost back to normal!! The problem now, the medical bills. Thousands in debt to all sorts of specialists and hospitals, most of which did nothing for her in the start. Going back to work will help, but between the bills going to collections and student loan payments increasing, things are getting really tight. We want to help our parents (and mom especially wants to help dad for all of the physical, emotional and financial support he’s been endlessly giving complaint free).
