My cholesterol is always 140-160; my LDL is 70. But my dr sends me to a cardiologist who says I need to be on a statin. I said no, because I don’t want Alzheimer’s…so he tells me to take a different drug which won’t cross the BBB. So, seems we might agree that statins are bad🤔

My cholesterol was around 385! I finally agreed to take statins. Still not sure of the best solution. I’m on Metformin now too.
