Hi, barbers daughter here..soak the foot then use a sewing needle to gently fish the end of the hair out. Been doing this for my mom for years

it’s a hair splinter and yes it sometimes happens very painful when you touch them it feels like a static shock I used numbing cream and a plaster 🩹
