Hi! My mom was just diagnosed with early onset last year in November too, she is 54 😞 I’m the oldest 34 and I have 2 younger sisters, youngest is 18. It has been so hopeless feeling like the world is ending. My mom did start the Lequembi infusions. We are all scared for the future. I’m glad we’re not alone but this feels so wrong and unfair that some people have to go through this. I hope you get to spend your last years with your family doing fun things and enjoying as much as you can! ❤️

I am 49 and experiencing memory loss. drs going through various possibilities for the last 3 yrs. (Anxiety,MS,vestibular migraines...) it's scary. do you have autoimmune diseases as well? I've had since a teen. Wondering if related.

Definitely take vacations with your kids. Enjoy memories. Take tons of pictures and make scrapbooks. Also take videos.

I just saw your posts, my heart goes out to you 💕 I currently work at a home for early onset dementia patients, it can be difficult to see them slowly moving farther away. I bring my dog to work everyday and am thankful I can offer them a little bit of joy whenever we come to work 💕 While I do not have any personal experience with MAID, I am glad that that is an option for people to choose how they will experience their life, and their death 💕

You mentioned that you’ll be getting 60% of your income, and that you live in a high salary region. If the rents are higher in that area too, you might get more bang for your buck if you move. Your daughter is in school though, so I get that might be a challenge.
