you can use egg shells crushed around plants to stop snails eating them. good for children to learn to take care of animals too

Speak to your local green grocer I get a delivery every few weeks of the stuff that’s going in the bin at there warehouse so it’s basically free chicken food.

We used to use their egg shells mixed with grit. This definitely helped the grit last longer and less waste 😀
