In Mark 5, Jesus is on His way to heal Jairus’ daughter… and then He stops for a woman who had been bleeding for 12 years. From Jairus’ perspective, it probably felt like Jesus was delaying. But from God’s perspective, Jesus was building his faith. Because while Jairus was waiting for Jesus to heal his dying daughter, he watched Jesus heal a woman who had been suffering for the same amount of time his daughter had been alive — 12 years. One miracle interrupted the journey… but it also became the encouragement Jairus needed for the miracle ahead. Sometimes what feels like God’s delay is actually God giving you evidence that He’s still in control. The woman was healed by touching the hem of His garment. Jairus’ daughter was raised by hearing His voice. Same Jesus. Same power. Different method. So don’t mistake the interruption for abandonment. Jesus wasn’t late. He was revealing that sickness, shame, delay, and even death still bow to Him. “Do not fear, only believe.” — Mark 5:36
