I looked up what an aisle chair is and there are tons of disabled people being completely mistreated as if disabilities are a choice! So sad! I too am disabled, but I have never needed to fly since my disability thank goodness!

Also, I am videoing so this never happens again and, yes, you can hear me encouraging because we had just finished a 7 hour flight (and a horrible 4 days of travel with AA) and I know she was exhausted.

Please file a lawsuit there are precendent cases for this type of violation of ACAA and ADA. In addition to the lawsuits, American Airlines received a $50 million DOT fine just last year.

I would never record my daughter being humiliated like this, nor would I allow it. Either they’d bring that chair or someone would be carrying her. This is unacceptable by them and you.

Personally, I wouldn’t let my daughter touch the ground. I’d ask someone to help me carry her out instead of recording. Sometimes we make problems when there are easier solutions.
