I want the process to feel less like survival and more like pulling up to a family barbecue with your best dish, and leaving feeling good with a to-go plate, full of inspiration. Film is one of the strongest art forms there is. And has the power to really move people. To shift something in you. But right now, I see a lot of talented filmmakers trying to make magic happen alone. And I just don’t think that’s how this is meant to work. If we can tap back into the values that come with real community care, collaboration, contribution we can really pivot into something special and feels good.
