maybe it’s selfish of me but i would rather spend an eternity being able to experience life and grow my identity even if it meant suffering than have the instant gratification of becoming enlightened and losing my connection to everything that makes me who and what i am. you would all essentially just become a shell of your former selves and become the same person, that sounds like hell to me
