We coded someone for 5 hours in the OR, I ran blood the entire time (tube system was down. Every 6 minutes 2 flights of stairs, across the hospital and back. I couldn’t walk at the end.

I watched a couple come in to panera, they sat right in front of the cash register, the guy first of all, was knuckle deep in his nose and ate it, and RIGHT AFTER was full on having a makeout session with his girlfriend right in front of me

A patients family member that I had met for nearly 2 minutes, started raising his voice at me over something very stupid and then leaned over the bed towards and lifted his fist. I told my charge nurse this and she said, yeah they act like that and we just try to keep them happy??!?!?!? I was like well I am not working around them again so did not go back til patient was moved off unit.

you have a heated argument/convo with a co worker who is also your charge nurse and you just don't have the energy to go thru that sh*t again the next day, so you already made up your mind the very day you're not coming in tomorrow or else it's not gonna be just verbal but physical abuse...

I worked all weekend and the schedule was posted for Monday and I saw I had to float to rehab unit...during a state survey when they found out someone on the rehab unit replaced the liquid morphine with water. I was like not my circus yall on your own answering to that
