Replace ds3 w/ ds1 but otherwise yea. “Bloodborne is more than the bosses!” World design is “we have lordran at home!” And theres like 2 maybe 3 areas in the base game that are actually fun and well designed. Base game as a whole is poorly balanced and drastically spikes up in level reqs contrary to literally any other fromsoft game and the entire stretch from byrgenworth to the end of the game is miserable. Game is hard carried by dlc and base game honestly is the weakest in the franchise. Atmosphere and lore are also hella overrated but thats another whole can of worms so ill keep it to this: it’s just done better in ds1

bloodborne isn't the most optimised, it isn't the objective best game in the soul borne series, its multiplayer is odd and the blood vial system is slightly annoying if you dont know what to do, but its still my favourite game of all time. this IS biased.
