i had so many unfinished projects because i’d start something but the topic wasn’t good enough for me so i’d start researching another topic but would reach a point where i deemed it not good enough again. it was a vicious cycle, but then all the projects where i found a good enough topic i got top grades

Me having dropped out of university twice, despite being an intelligent person 🧍🏾♀️. I just think most undergraduate degrees are insufferable in the way they’ve been designed. They’re so boring and don’t actually require that must critical thinking but moreso how to how to write an essay based on PowerPoint slides.

this is how i failed sociology in college. take home essays, 4 questions. no limits. first question was about whether or not it is possible to eradicate poverty. by the deadline that was the only essay i was able to submit. i read 11 books for it. 😭

During my undergrad, I would tell my classmates I hadn't started an assignment. In reality, I've started reading multiple resources on the topic but I don't start writing until a night before. It can be annoying and time-consuming.

Sometimes I fall into the trap of writing about an interesting tangent and my feedback from lecturers would be ‘wow, that’s amazing and I learned something new. But you went off track from what I asked for the assignment’ so I either barely passed the assignment or have to redo the assignment.
