You look fabulous… Healing takes time. Look at it like this… Skin heals the same, whether it’s a cut to your finger or major surgery. Muscles take longer to heal but skin should heal in three weeks. The skin will remain red for a number of months and become paler as time passes by, up to a year. Skin can take longer to heal, if an infection gets into it, so it’s important to be vigilant with observation of red, tender areas.
