It's funny how he's so much more friendly and well trained than my donkeys who are just finally becoming nicer (when we got them they wouldn't come near us for weeks) and yet he acts like that for the vet when my shy girls mostly just stand still.

for future id recommend making/investing in a head chute or something similar. Will lower stress for both animal and handler and reduce risks of injury. This poor handling is both unfair on the animal and your vet.
