It’s a movement I’ve workshopped for a while with myself and a few clients that report recurrent tightness and sore ness around the side and back of their hip (very common for runners) Many of them feel an immediate difference in the constant pressure they had been feeling in that area. I’m a big fan of stretches that incorporate some level of muscle contraction because I believe it’s the combination of stretch AND strength that results in long-term outcomes.
