I see the hexigon and diamonds, but what did you use to make the yellow pieces, please?

I started my puff quilt in 2021 the summer before I started law school, as a “before law school” project. 4 years later, still working on it, when I have time, and when I’m feeling like it’s not a task and something I want to do and do well. Slow crafts are good crafts! And these are gorgeous!

It’s not “taking a long time” you’re getting to spend more time with your grandma thru this project 🥹

"Speed does not equal success" thank you. I needed to hear that today as someone that has basically had their whole life put on pause for health reasons after pushing my body too hard and too fast for too long.... all I've been focusing on is how behind I'm going to fall on my goals.... and you were able to demonstrate to me a beautiful perspective of something people have only been able to tell me with their empty words.

I started hand sewing a hexagon quilt last year and it's been so awesome. I just have the quilting and binding left to do. Yours is so special though! I love that the pieces are from your grandma's fabric

Stunning. I do hand embroidery and I feel the same when people ask me if I’d ever buy a machine.

Literally priceless. Fabric, thread, your effort are all one thing, but the extra time with your grandma... 🥹 Having lost mine as well, my heart is full for you 💙
