My dad is in his 80s and no dementia yet. In this weather he is wearing long sleeves and trousers. Says he's cold in anything else. I guess some elderly people just always run cold

There are also something called “jelly drops” which you can buy which helps keep up fluid intake, which is so important in hot weather
