I’ve had two CT scans with IV contrast here in Japan. Interesting that the contrast caused a sensation of warmth spreading through my body, but had no adverse side effects. FYI, with National Health Insurance there was only an 8,700 yen ($59) copay for each CT scan.

I had contrast because it "give clear results" but I got anaphylaxis from it. Most uncomfortable time of my life. Traumatized

the problem with doc,s & nurses they don't tell u the pros,& cons about the test ,any test u just do now u are haveing another problem ,from test u got & more pills to take ! 😳

The surgeons I worked with always ordered with and without contrast and IV and PO. Abd and pelvis. What is the need for this?

What they do t tell you is if you take a diuretic for blood pressure it can damage your kidneys .. happened to me
